The Man In My Basement is directed by Nadia Latif in her feature debut and co-written with Walter Mosley, adapting his own novel. The film stars Corey Hawkins as a man about to lose his family home when an unlikely saviour arrives in a wealthy businessman (Willem Dafoe) who offers to rent his basement for the summer. But this stranger's true intentions are far from benevolent.
Anna Diop and Tamara Lawrance also star.
