now portrays an aging Robin Hood in writer/director Michael Sarnoski's The Death of Robin Hood. Inspired by the classic English folk tale 'Robin Hood's Death', the
film sees a critically injured Robin Hood look back on his life of
crime.
Leviticus (Sept 2nd cinemas)
Written and directed by Adrian Chiarella, Aussie chiller Leviticus stars
Joe Bird and Stacy Clausen as two young lovers targeted by a
supernatural entity that takes the form of their respective objects of
desire.
Late Fame (Sept 4th cinemas)
Directed by Kent Jones (Diane) from a script by Samy Burch, Late Fame sees
Willem Dafoe play Ed Saxberger, a poet who finds himself thrust into the spotlight late in
life when a collection of poems he penned years earlier suddenly wins him
new fans, including the adoring Gloria (Greta Lee).
Fall 2 (Sept 9th cinemas)
Nightmare fuel for anyone with a fear of heights, 2022's survival
thriller Fall
saw two friends stuck above a massive radio tower. The sequel, Fall 2, introduces two new characters, a pair of friends who find themselves
navigating a perilous situation on a mountain in Thailand.
Blue Film (Sept 11th cinemas)
Written and directed by Elliot Tuttle, Blue Film stars Kieron Moore as Aaron, a camboy who agrees to meet a client (Reed Birney) in person for the sum of $50,000. But all is not as it seems as the
sinister client reveals a connection to Aaron's past.
Resident Evil (Sept 18th cinemas)
Barbarian and Weapons director Zach Cregger
now turns his attention to rebooting the Resident Evil franchise. Co-written with Shay Hatten, Cregger's Resident Evil stars Austin Abrams
as a courier tasked with delivering a package in Raccoon City on the night
an outbreak unleashes zombies.
Bad Apples (Sept 18th cinemas)
Based on Rasmus Andersson's novel 'De Oönskade', director Jonatan Etzler's Bad Apples stars
Saoirse Ronan as Maria, a teacher who finds her class thrown into
chaos by one disruptive 10-year-old (Eddie Waller). Determined to
wrestle back control, Maria takes extreme measures.
Heart of the Beast (Sept 23rd cinemas)
Director David Ayer reunites with his Fury leading man Brad Pitt for survival thriller Heart of the Beast. Written by Cameron Alexander, the film sees Pitt play Special Forces officer James Belmont, who finds himself stranded in
Alaska with his combat dog Odin following a plane crash.
Babystar (Sept 25th cinemas)
Director Joscha Bongard skewers social media with his new drama
Babystar. Co-written with Nicole Rüthers, the film stars Maja Bons as Luca, a teenage
girl who has become a global online star thanks to her parents (Bea Brocks, Liliom Lewald) documenting every aspect of her
family's life. But is Luca the star of her parents' life or their
victim?
Her Private Hell (Sept 25th cinemas)
Nicholas Winding Refn
returns with his first film since 2016's The Neon Demon. Co-written with Esti Giordani, Her Private Hell is set in a future
city that has been engulfed by a mysterious mist.
Sophie Thatcher plays a young woman who sets off to find her
missing father, crossing paths with a soldier (Charles Melton) on a
mission to rescue his daughter from Hell.
