
Writer/director David Cronenberg continues to explore the horrors of our increasingly tech-reliant world with his latest sci-fi horror The Shrouds. Vincent Cassel plays Karsh, a tech mogul who invents "GraveTech", a tombstone that broadcasts a real time feed of a decaying corpse. When such graves, including that of his late wife, fall victim to a campaign of desecration, Karsh sets out to find those responsible.
The film also stars Diane Kruger, Guy Pearce and Sandrine Holt.
The Shrouds is in UK/ROI cinemas from July 4th.

The official synopsis reads:
Karsh (Vincent Cassel), 50, is a prominent businessman. Inconsolable since the death of his wife (Diane Kruger), he invents GraveTech, revolutionary and controversial technology that enables the living to monitor their dear departed in their shrouds. One night, multiple graves, including that of Karsh’s wife, are desecrated so Karsh sets out to track down the perpetrators.
