Writer/director Beth de Araújo follows up her 2022 debut Soft & Quiet with another confrontational thriller in Josephine. The film sees Channing Tatum and Gemma Chan cast as parents coping with the aftermath of their eight-year-old daughter (Mason Reeves) witnessing a brutal sexual assault in a San Francisco park.
Philip Ettinger, Syra McCarthy, Eleanore Pienta, Michael Angelo Covino and Dana Millican also star.
Josephine is in UK/ROI cinemas from November 20th.

The official synopsis reads:
After eight-year-old Josephine (Mason Reeves) accidentally witnesses a crime in Golden Gate Park, she begins to act out violently to protect herself. This emotional trauma leads to conflicts between her parents (Channing Tatum and Gemma Chan) as they search for justice, and a way to feel safe again.
