Director James Ashcroft (The Rule of Jenny Pen) and screenwriters Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer adapt Alex North's novel The Whisper Man. The film sees Adam Scott play a writer who enlists the aid of his retired detective father (Robert De Niro) when his son is abducted by a serial killer.
Michelle Monaghan, Michael Keaton, John Carroll Lynch, Hamish Linklater and Owen Teague also star.
The Whisper Man will debut on Netflix later this year.
