Director Paul Greengrass has become known for focussing on key incidents in recent history with films like United 93, Omagh and 22 July. Now he's going back to 14th century England for The Uprising. The film stars Andrew Garfield as Wat Tyler, a farmer who played a key role in the peasants' revolt against the tyrannical reign of King Richard II.
Jamie Bell, Stephen Dillane, Tom Hollander, Cosmo Jarvis, Thomasin McKenzie, Jonny Lee Miller, Woody Norman and Katherine Waterston also star.
The Uprising is in UK/ROI cinemas from October 9th.
