What do we know? Director James Wan steps outside his horror comfort zone for this latest installment of a seemingly endless franchise. Paul Walker returns from beyond the grave, with his brothers acting as stand-ins. Jason Statham joins the cast as the villain.
Avengers: Age of Ultron

What do we know? The assembled gang return to face off against James Spader's Ultron, who plans to make humanity extinct. Expect a post-credits scene to provide the movie's biggest talking point.
Mad Max: Fury Road

Who the hell is in it? Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult
What do we know? Returning director George Miller promises a "western on wheels," with Hardy filling the now unhireable Mel Gibson's boots. The trailer promises a return to the spirit of the originals.

Who the hell is in it? Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld
What do we know? One of three musicals featuring Anna Kendrick heading our way in 2015 (along with Into the Woods and The Last Five Years). Star Elizabeth Banks makes her directorial debut. This time the Barden Bellas attempt to become the first American winners of an international acapella tournament.
Jurassic World

What do we know? The planned theme park of the first movie is now in full swing and everything seems to be running fine until the park's star attraction, a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, goes on the rampage.
Terminator: Genisys

Who the hell is in it? Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Arnold Schwarzenegger
What do we know? As in the original, Kyle Reese (Courtney) returns to '80s Los Angeles to save Sarah Connor (Clarke) but finds she's a step ahead of him, having been raised and protected by a friendly Terminator. Schwarzenegger is "back".

What do we know? Mila Kunis departs, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman and Amanda Seyfried join a surprisingly stellar cast. Rumour has it this sequel will follow a road movie format.
Magic Mike XXL

Who the hell is in it? Elizabeth Banks, Amber Heard, Channing Tatum
What do we know? Having traded cinema for TV, Steven Soderbergh doesn't return, with Gregory Jacobs taking over directorial duties. The plot apparently involves Mike and his fellow strippers attending a stripping convention. There's no McConaughey this time out, with Amber Heard and Elizabeth Banks joining the cast.
Maze Runner: Scorch Trials

What do we know? Having escaped the maze of the first film, our heroes must now negotiate the post-apocalyptic outside world. This time the cast isn't such a sausage fest, with several new female characters being introduced.
London Has Fallen

Who the hell is in it? Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Charlotte Riley
What do we know? At the funeral of the British Prime Minister, a terrorist attack is launched, with Gerard Butler's secret service agent apparently the only man qualified to save the day.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

Who the hell is in it? Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth
What do we know? The wildly successful franchise reaches its climax with part 2 of the adaptation of the the final novel. The movie will serve as the final screen appearance of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
