Taking its title from the disparaging label given to the last player to be selected in the NFL draft, director Jonathan Levine's Mr. Irrelevant stars David Corenswet as John Tuggle. In 1983 Tuggle was signed by the New York Giants as the last player in that season's draft, going on to defy expectations with his performances.
Written by Nick Santora, the film also stars Isabel May, David Krumholtz, Tuwaine Barrett, Thaddeus LaGrone, Alexander England, Spencer House, Tandi Wright and Michael Shannon.
Mr. Irrelevant is in UK/ROI cinemas from January 1st, 2027.

The official synopsis reads:
Mr. Irrelevant is the inspiring true story of John Tuggle (David Corenswet), the last player selected in the last round of the 1983 NFL draft by the New York Giants.
