Writer/director Chris Schwab is the latest filmmaker to reimagine Bram Stoker's classic vampire tale with Dracula: The Night Around Us. The retelling sees an asylum doctor make a connection with a woman named Mina and her daughter Lucy. The latter draws the attention of the sewer-dwelling Dracula, who wishes to make her his latest undead bride.
The film stars Eric Toms, Marlene Mc'Cohen, Spencer Weitzel, Raelan Mackiewicz, Brent Jones, Andrea Martina, Isabela Penagos, Ginny You, Thomas Hwan Kim, Gabriel Grier, Michael King, Joel Slabo, Georgie Halali, Danny O'Brien and Harmony Smith.
Dracula: The Night Around Us makes its UK premiere at FrightFest on August 30th.

The official synopsis reads:
Dr. John Seward, a depressed doctor at an asylum for the criminally insane, finds a rare glimmer of hope when he connects with his new neighbour, Mina, and her young daughter, Lucy. But beneath the city streets, an ancient evil stirs in the sewers. Dracula is building a harem of undead brides, and he soon sets his sights on Lucy.
