Ben Affleck's latest film as director is the crime thriller Animals, which he co-wrote with Connor O. McIntyre and Billy Ray. Inspired by true events, the film sees Affleck play a mayoral candidate whose son is kidnapped. In order to raise the ransom money he must expose his secrets and jeopardise his political future.
The film also stars Kerry Washington, Gillian Anderson, Adriana Paz, Ray Fisher, Matt Gerald, Luis Gerardo Méndez and Steven Yeun.
Animals is on Netflix and in select cinemas from October 9th.
