Written and directed by Hlynur Pálmason (Godland), The Love That Remains details a year in the life of an Icelandic family as the parents prepare for a separation.
The film stars Ingvar Sigurdsson, Sverrir Gudnason and Anders Mossling.
The Love That Remains is in UK/ROI cinemas from March 20th, 2026.

The official synopsis reads:
Anna, an artist, and Magnús, a fisherman, live with their three children and charismatic sheepdog in the quiet grandeur of the Icelandic countryside. As the fractures in their marriage come to the surface, the couple try to hold onto the afterimages of a life together and make sense of a deep and lingering devotion.
