Richard Stark's creation Parker has been played on screen by the likes of Lee Marvin, Mel Gibson and Jason Statham, though sometimes under a different name. The latest to portray the hardboiled character is Mark Wahlberg in director Shane Black's Play Dirty. The film sees Parker assemble a crew to pull off a lucrative heist, making enemies of the New York mob in the process.
LaKeith Stanfield, Rosa Salazar, Keegan-Michael Key, Chukwudi Iwuji, Nat Wolff, Thomas Jane and Tony Shalhoub also star.
Play Dirty is on Prime Video from October 1st.
