Leonie Benesch follows her breakout role in The Teachers' Lounge with another portrayal of a stressed public servant in
writer/director Petra Volpe's Late Shift. Benesch plays Floria, a nurse in an understaffed Swiss hospital who
finds herself working an increasingly tense late shift that sees her make
an unprofessional error.

Bring Her Back (August 1st, cinemas)
Australian filmmaking duo Danny and Michael Philippou follow up their
acclaimed hit Talk to Me with another horror movie in Bring Her Back. The film sees a brother and sister uncover sinister goings-on when
they're taken in by a foster mother (Sally Hawkins) following their
father's death.

The Kingdom (August 8th, cinemas)
This 1990s-set French crime drama sees Ghjuvanna Benedetti play Lesia, a 15-year-old sent to stay with
her estranged Corsican mobster father Pierre-Paul (Saveriu Santucci). Lesia finds herself drawn into her father's
dangerous world as the pair become targeted by his rivals.

Weapons (August 8th, cinemas)
Writer/director Zach Cregger follows up his acclaimed debut Barbarian with Weapons. Cregger's latest is centred on a community rocked when 17 children from
the same school class all disappear on the same night. The class's teacher
(Julia Garner) finds herself the suspect in this inexplicable
case.

Inside (August 11th, VOD)
The feature debut of writer/director Charles Williams, Inside sees newcomer Vincent Miller play Mel, a young man
transferred from juvenile detention to an adult prison in Australia. There
he is taken under the wing of a soon to be paroled inmate (Guy Pearce) and one of Australia's most infamous criminals (Cosmo Jarvis).

Materialists (August 13th, cinemas)
Writer/director Celine Song follows up her acclaimed debut Past Lives with romantic comedy Materialists. The film stars Dakota Johnson as a New York high society matchmaker who finds herself torn
between two men, played by Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal.

Together (August 15th, cinemas)
One of the hits of this year's Sundance Film Festival was
writer/director Michael Shanks' feature debut Together. The body horror heavy film stars real life couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco as a couple who move to the countryside in the hopes of a fresh
start. There they find themselves preyed upon by a mysterious supernatural
force.

Night Always Comes (August 15th, Netflix)
Adapted from the novel by Willy Vlautin, director Benjamin Caron's Night Always Comes stars Vanessa Kirby as a woman who takes desperate
measures to raise the money she needs to keep her family home in a single
night.

Meanwhile on Earth (August 25th, VOD)
Director Jérémy Clapin follows up his Oscar-nominated animated
feature I Lost My Body with his live-action debut Meanwhile on Earth. The film stars Megan Northam as Elsa, a young woman
whose astronaut brother Franck mysteriously disappears while exploring
space. Three years later Elsa is contacted by an alien life form that
promises to return her brother if she commits an act of treason against

Little Trouble Girls (August 29th, cinemas)
The directorial debut of Urška Djukić is centred on Lucija (Jara Sofija Ostan), a shy teen who joins the all-girls choir at her
Slovenian Catholic school. While on a retreat with the choir she falls for
charismatic fellow pupil Ana-Marija (Mina Švajger), throwing her
belief system into chaos in the process.
