Directed by Robert Morgan and co-written with Robin King,
Stopmotion stars Aisling Franciosi as a stopmotion
animator struggling to process her mother's death. When she embarks on a new
animation project, the characters she creates take on a terrifying life of
their own. Stella Gonet and Tom York also star.
Stopmotion is in US cinemas from February 23rd and on
Shudder from May 31st. As of now it's unclear if the film will receive a
UK/ROI theatrical release or will premiere on Shudder.

The official synopsis reads:
Ella Blake is a stop-motion animator who is struggling to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother. Suddenly alone in the world, she embarks upon the creation of a macabre new puppet film, which soon becomes the battleground for her sanity. As Ella’s mind starts to fracture, the characters in her animated film take on a terrifying life of their own, and the unleashed power of her imagination threatens to destroy her.
