Actor Joe Lo Truglio makes his debut as writer/director with
thriller Outpost. The film stars Beth Dover as a victim of domestic abuse who
escapes her violent partner and takes a three month post manning a fire
watchtower in the remote woods of Idaho. When she starts to have disturbing
visions she's forced to ask herself if it's her PTSD or something more
physical.
Ato Essandoh, Dylan Baker, Becky Ann Baker, Dallas Roberts, Ta'Rea
Campbell, Tim Neff
and D.R. Anderson also star.
Outpost is in US cinemas and VOD from May 19th. A UK/ROI
release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
After a violent assault, a woman asks her best friend for help escaping an abusive ex. She’s given a job as a fire lookout in the mountains of northern Idaho, hoping the peaceful solitude will heal her trauma. But the PTSD and isolation have other plans, and it’s suddenly a fight to save herself and the town.
