Director Christophe Gans' 2001 action-horror hybrid
Brotherhood of the Wolf combines martial arts with monster
movie thrills. Inspired by the story of the "Beast of Gévaudan", the film sees a region of Southern France menaced by
a mysterious man-eating creature in the 18th century.
Scientist Grégoire de Fronsac (Samuel Le Bihan) and his Iroquis blood brother
(Mark Dacascos) are sent to the area to capture the beast. The film
also stars Jérémie Renier, Vincent Cassel and
Monica Bellucci.
Newly restored, the director's cut of
Brotherhood of the Wolf arrives on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on May 15th courtesy of Studiocanal.
