While his films (Antiviral;
Possessor) share similar sci-fi themes to those of his more famous father,
Brandon Cronenberg has proven himself an interesting filmmaker in his
own right. His upcoming third feature Infinity Pool stars
Mia Goth as a mysterious woman who lures a holidaying couple (Alexander Skarsgård, Cleopatra Coleman) away from their resort and
into a world of violence.
The film also stars
Jalil Lespert, Thomas Kretschmann, Amanda Brugel, Caroline Boulton
and John Ralston.
Infinity Pool is in US cinemas from January 27th. A UK/ROI
release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
While staying at an isolated island resort James and Em are enjoying a perfect vacation of pristine beaches, exceptional staff, and soaking up the sun. But guided by the seductive and mysterious Gabi, they venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism, and untold horror. A tragic accident leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime: either you’ll be executed, or, if you’re rich enough to afford it, you can watch yourself die instead.
