story starring Benedict Cumberbatch holds tight at Number 1 with
80% of its sales this week coming from digital download copies.
Dr Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas is pushed to
Number 3, landing just ahead of The Polar Express which
jumps four places to a brand new peak at Number 4.
Climbing six to Number 5,
The Last Duel
enters the Top 10 for the first time. Starring
Matt Damon, Adam Driver and Jody Comer, and based on the
true story of France’s last trial by combat in the middle ages, knight Sir
Jean De Carrouges (Damon) challenges squire Jacques Le Gris (Driver) to a
duel after his wife Marguerite (Comer) accuses Le Gris of assault. The
story is told across the different points of view of the three
characters.
Marvel’s
The Suicide Squad
drops one place to Number 6, while
Rise Of The Footsoldier: Origins enters the Top 10 for the
first time at Number 7 and Paw Patrol: The Movie moves down
one to 8. Arthur Christmas climbs to a new peak at Number
9.
Finally, Shang-Chi & The Legend Of The Ten Rings rounds
off this week’s countdown at Number 10.
