The feature debut of director Damian McCann, the Irish language thriller
Doineann stars Peter Coonan as a man who teams up
with a retired cop (Bríd Brennan) to find his missing wife and child before a storm
hits their remote island. Clare Monnelly and Sean T. O’Meallaigh also star.
Doineann is in Irish cinemas from January 28th. A UK release
has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
DOINEANN, the Irish for ‘stormy weather’, tells the story of the disappearance of a woman and her baby on a remote Irish island. Her husband (Peter Coonan) must put his trust in the island’s retired policewoman (Brid Brennan) to help find his family before a storm hits the island.
