After tackling Charles Manson (The Haunting of Sharon Tate) and Ted Bundy (Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman), writer/director Daniel Farrands turns his attention to another
infamous American figure with
Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman.
Peyton List plays Wuornos in this thriller that focusses on the
beginnings of her descent into homicidal rage in the late
1970s.
Tobin Bell, Lydia Hearst, Nick Vallelonga, Swen Temmel, Meadow Williams and Andrew Biernat also star.
Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman plays US cinemas for
one night only on September 20th with a US VOD release on October 8th. A
UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
