First look at July's latest comedy.
It's been almost a decade since Miranda July gave us a movie as writer/director, but she's back with con artist comedy Kajillionaire. The film stars Evan Rachel Wood, Debra Winger and Richard Jenkins as a family of confidence tricksters who get more than they bargained for when they lure a stranger (Gina Rodriguez) into their latest scam.
A UK/ROI release date has yet to be announced but we're told it will be coming to cinemas.
Check out the trailer, poster and official synopsis below.
The official synopsis reads:
From acclaimed writer/director Miranda July comes a profoundly moving and wildly original comedy. Con-artists Theresa (Debra Winger) and Robert (Richard Jenkins) have spent 26 years training their only daughter, Old Dolio (Evan Rachel Wood), to swindle, scam, and steal at every opportunity. During a desperate, hastily conceived heist, they charm a stranger (Gina Rodriguez) into joining their next scam, only to have their entire world turned upside down.
