Will Dennis directs himself in the indie comedy drama.
Writer/director Will Dennis casts himself in his comedy drama Vanilla as Elliot, an entrepreneur who hooks up with a struggling comedian (Kelsea Bauman-Murphy) in an effort to save her family business. The two set off on a road trip from New York to New Orleans in the hopes of selling a van and raising the much needed funds. Aparna Nancherla and Johnny Sibilly also star.
Fresh off its festival run, Vanilla hits US VOD April 28th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
A freewheeling comedian, determined to save her family business, invites an uptight entrepreneur on a road trip to sell a van with a complicated history. Calling it a first date, they establish road rules that include a dance collaboration, separate sleeping quarters, and French pastries. Romance ignites on their three-day trip. As they discover each other's quirks and secrets, they must decide if their new connection is worth more than the van.
