Zack Snyder's
Army of the Dead
featured a German safecracker named Dieter, played by Matthias Schweighöfer. Now Dieter gets to headline his own movie
in Army of Thieves, a heist thriller set before the events of the zombie movie.
Directed by Schweighöfer, Army of Thieves sees Dieter recruited by a
mysterious woman to join a crew of wanted criminals. Their Mission? To
break into some of Europe's most uncrackable safes.
The film also stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Guz Khan and
Jonathan Cohen.
Army of Thieves will debut on Netflix later this
year.
