20th Century Fox have released a first look at the third instalment of the Maze Runner series.
Hollywood's Young Adult boom now feels like a relic of the past, with Twilight, The Hunger Games et al having run their respective courses. One YA franchise is still kicking around however. Remember The Maze Runner? Well the third instalment, The Death Cure, is on its way.
Series regulars Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario and Will Poulter return, with Patricia Clarkson and Giancarlo Esposito joining the cast.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure is in UK/ROI cinemas February 9th 2018.
The official synopsis reads:
In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.
