Based on the bestselling memoir of Sharon Yitzhaki, 10 Kilos sees Daniella Kertesz play Sharon, a young woman sent o a notorious Bolivian prison after being caught with 10 kilos of cocaine on her person.
"10 Kilos is not simply a crime film," says director Doron Eran. "At its core, this is a story about survival, manipulation, fear, and the emotional cost of being trapped inside a world that keeps pulling you deeper. We wanted audiences to experience every moment of Sharon's journey."
10 Kilos is in US cinemas from August 21st and VOD from September 29th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
