The feature debut of writer/director Harry Domenico Rossi, Pescador was inspired by a dream the filmmaker had while in a coma. Alex Wanebo, Spencer Bang and Mario Chacón star as two American siblings and a Costa Rican fisherman whose lives intersect during a quest to find a mythical fish in the jungle waters.
Pescador will receive its European premiere at the Raindance Film Festival on June 18th.

The official synopsis reads:
Against a backdrop of Costa Rica’s lush jungles and beatific vistas, Pescador follows an American scientist searching for a mythical fish; her erratic and hostile brother; and a lonely fisherman, who dreams of a son. As their lives intersect, the film asks what is sacrificed in isolation and what is risked in connection.
