Japanese master Hirokazu Koreeda (Our Little Sister; Shoplifters) turns his talents to sci-fi and casts his gaze on the current conversation around AI with Sheep in the Box. The film sees a grieving couple (Haruka Ayase and Daigo Yamamoto) adopt a humanoid robot child (Kuwaki Rimu) in the wake of their son's passing.
The film also stars Nana Seino, Kanichiro, Hinata Hiiragi, Akihiro Kakuta, Kayo Noro and Mari Hoshino.
Sheep in the Box is in UK/ROI cinemas from September 25th.
