Directed by Jeppe Rønde (Bridgend) and co-written with Christopher Grøndahl and Rasmus Birch, Acts of Love stars Cecilie Lassen as Hanna, a young woman whose life in a secluded religious commune is upended by the return of her brother Jakob (Jonas Holst Schmidt). When Jakob confronts the commune on their beliefs, Hanna finds her loyalties tested.
The film also stars Ann Eleonora Jørgensen, Henrik Birch and Ella Josephine Lund Nilsson.
Acts of Love is on US VOD from February 10th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

Set in rural Denmark, Acts of Love follows Hanna (Cecilie Lassen), a young woman raised in a New Age Christian commune whose carefully ordered world begins to unravel when her estranged brother Jakob (Jonas Holst Schmidt) unexpectedly returns. His arrival stirs long-buried memories and challenges the community’s strict beliefs, forcing Hanna to confront secrets that test her faith, her family, and her sense of self.
