
Written and directed by Bi Gan (Long Day's Journey Into Night), sci-fi epic Resurrection is set in a future where humans have lost the ability to dream. Shu Qi plays Miss Shu, who discovers an alien creature that has retained such an ability. Entering the creature's mind, Shu experiences six distinctive dreams that play out as the film's individual chapters.
The film also stars Jackson Yee, Mark Chao and Li Gengxi, and features a musical score by M83.
Resurrection is in UK/ROI cinemas from March 13th.

The official synopsis reads:
In a world where humanity has lost the ability to dream, one creature remains entranced by the fading illusions of the dreamworld. This monster, adrift in reverie, clings to visions no one else can see—until a woman appears. Gifted with the rare power to perceive these illusions for what they truly are, she chooses to enter the monster’s dreams, determined to uncover the truth that lies hidden within.
