Canada's submission to this year's Oscars was writer/director Alireza Khatami's Turkish-set thriller The Things You Kill. The film sees a college professor enlist the aid of his gardener in investigating the death of his mother in suspicious circumstances.
Ekin Koç, Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Hazar Ergüçlü, Ercan Kesal, Serhat Nalbantoğlu, Aysan Sümercan and Selen Kurtaran star.
The Things You Kill is in US cinemas from November 14th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
