Directed by Ritesh Gupta from a script by Samantha Gurash and Patrick Robert Young, The Red Mask sees a screenwriter travel to a remote cabin with her fiancée to pen a script for a revival of a once-popular slasher franchise. When a pair of strangers claim to have booked the same cabin, fiction and reality start to blur in nightmarish ways.
The film stars Helena Howard, Innanna Sarkis, Jake Abel and Kelli Garner.
The Red Mask receives its world premiere at FrightFest and is set for its US premiere at Screamfest LA on October 11th.

When Allina Green, a rising indie screenwriter, is hired to revive a cult ’80s slasher, she and her fiancée Deetz retreat to a remote cabin for inspiration. But as Allina’s screenplay begins to rewrite itself and two masked strangers appear, their weekend spirals into a terrifying showdown where homage, horror, and reality bleed together.
