The feature debut of writer/director Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor, Dreamers is a romantic drama set within the confines of a UK immigration removal centre. Ronkẹ Adékoluẹjo and Ann Akinjirin play two undocumented migrants whose friendship blossoms into something deeper as they await asylum approval.
Dreamers is in UK/ROI cinemas from December 5th.

The official synopsis reads:
DREAMERS stars Ronkẹ Adékoluẹjo (BEEN SO LONG, RAIN DOGS) as Isio, a Nigerian migrant detained after living undocumented in the UK for two years. Isio is convinced that the only way out is to play by the rules, even when her charismatic new roommate, Farah (played by Ann Akinjirin), warns her otherwise. As the friendship between Isio and Faith evolves into something deeper whilst her faith wanes as her asylum plans are rejected, she must choose between compliance and the risk of escape in pursuit of true freedom.
