Written and directed by Christopher Bouckoms and Sam Pezzullo, The Premiere is a mockumentary that sees Pezzullo play the role of a theatre producer attempting to stage a musical version of Wes Craven's Scream.
The film also stars Christina Brown, Alan Ceppos, Kristen Curcie, Timothy Dougherty, Wendy Federman, Lisa Gallo, Jacqueline Murphy, Marissa Ruben and Jenni Ruiza.
The Premiere is on US VOD from August 19th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

THE PREMIERE is a mockumentary about a narcissistic theater producer, Sam (Sam Pezzullo), creating a documentary about his journey to stage a musical version of his favorite movie, SCREAM. Along the way, he clashes with quirky characters played by real-life Hamptons locals, to awkward and outrageous results. Drawing inspiration from cringe comedy classics and crafted largely through improvisation, THE PREMIERE is a keen satire about the Hamptons with a biting love letter to the community at its core.
