The official synopsis reads:
SOLO tells the story of Simon, a rising star in Montreal’s drag scene. When he meets Olivier, a new performer at the bar where he works, it's love at first sight. But what begins as an electrifying romance quickly spirals into a competitive and destructive dynamic. At the same time, Simon’s mother, Claire—a renowned opera singer—returns home after a 15-year absence to restart her career. Simon, who barely knows her but deeply idealises her, is determined to build a relationship. Caught between the collapse of two impossible loves, Simon is forced to confront the truth: he deserves more.
