Having funnelled his love of '80s genre cinema into Psycho Goreman and Frankie Freako, writer/director Steven Kostanski now takes on a remake of the cult 1983 sword and sorcery b-movie Deathstalker. Daniel Bernhardt plays the title role of the warrior who finds himself hunted by monstrous foes after discovering a cursed amulet.
The film also stars Patton Oswalt, Christina Orjalo, Paul Lazenby and Nina Bergman.
Deathstalker is in US cinemas from October 10th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
In Deathstalker, the Kingdom of Abraxeon is under siege by the Dreadites, heralds of the long-dead sorcerer Nekromemnon. When Deathstalker recovers a cursed amulet from a corpse-strewn battlefield, he's marked by dark magick and hunted by monstrous assassins.
