
British actor Joseph Millson makes his debut as writer/director with comedy drama Signs of Life. The film stars Sarah-Jane Potts as Anne, a depressed woman who takes a cheap holiday only to find herself turned off by the noise and squalor she finds. Going off the beaten path to find some peace, Anne encounters another traveller (David Ganly) and the two strangers form an unexpected bond.
Signs of Life is in UK cinemas from September 5th.

The official synopsis reads:
Struck dumb by a dangerous cycle of depression and grief, Anne (Sarah-Jane Potts) attempts to shift her life by taking herself on a cheap holiday. She hopes to find peace, beauty and perspective, but on arrival she’s met with noise, squalor and danger! Forced to sleep rough in an unknown place, a chance encounter with another solo traveller (David Ganly) offers her an unexpected solution and a chain of surprising and often hilarious events unfold between these two strangers which will either heal them or cause them to crumble completely.
