
Having scooped awards for his documentary American: The Bill Hicks Story, director Matt Harlock makes his narrative feature debut with psychological horror Blockhead. The film sees a struggling novelist get a creative boost when a muse in the form of a psychotic decorator begins to appear before him. But as his work thrives, his life descends into violent chaos.
The cast includes Danny Horn, Joe Sims and Michele Moran.
Blockhead receives its world premiere at FrightFest on August 23rd.

The official synopsis reads:
A failing novelist desperate for inspiration thinks his muse appears to him in the form of a drunk, psychotic decorator. As his novel takes shape, his life spirals and erupts into a violent chaos, but his next piece could just possibly be genius.
