Caroline Ingvarsson makes her directorial debut with an adaptation of Håkan Nesser's novel 'The Living and the Dead in Winsford'. Written by Michèle Marshall, the film stars Mirja Turestedt as Maria, a Swedish TV host whose husband Magnus (Thomas W. Gabrielsson) is accused of sexual assault. When the couple leave Sweden to avoid scrutiny, Maria walks out on her husband and heads to England, where she is enveloped in paranoia regarding her actions.
Kris Hitchen, Sven Ahlström and Anna Próchniak also star.
Unmoored is in UK cinemas from August 15th.
