Inspired by an urban legend centred on the town of Meadville, Pennsylvania, where the film was shot, Pig Hill stars Rainey Qualley as a woman who decides to investigate the legend of the pig people of Pig Hill when several women go missing from the town.
The film is directed by Kevin Lewis and written by Jarrod Burris, adapted from the novel by Nancy Williams. It also stars Shane West and Shiloh Fernandez.
Pig Hill receives its world premiere at FrightFest on August 23rd.

The official synopsis reads:
Carrie has been fascinated by the local legend of the pig people of Pig Hill, revolting creatures who breed and cause havoc in the area. As the tenth woman goes missing, Carrie can't stop thinking that there could be more to these stories.
