Director Scott Derrickson and co-writer C. Robert Cargill scored a hit with their 2022 supernatural thriller The Black Phone. That film saw Ethan Hawke play The Grabber, a serial killer outdone by young abductee Finn (Mason Thames), who communicates with The Grabber's victims from beyond the grave via the eponymous communication device.
Black Phone 2 sees Finn and his younger sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw) now terrorised by the spirit of The Grabber.
Demián Bichir, Miguel Mora, Jeremy Davies and Arianna Rivas also star.
Black Phone 2 is in UK/ROI cinemas from October 17th.

The official synopsis reads:
