Cult writer/director Quentin Dupieux (Yannick;
Smoking Causes Coughing) continues to churn out absurdist comedies at a prolific rate. His latest,
The Second Act, stars Lea Seydoux as Florence, who goes on a dinner date with her
boyfriend David (Louis Garrel), unaware he plans to palm her off on his friend
Willy (Raphaël Quenard). To make things messier, Florence has invited her
father (Vincent Lindon) along.
The Second Act is on UK/ROI VOD from December 2nd.

The official synopsis reads:
David has a date with the beautiful Florence, but her needy and clingy behaviour is becoming a total turnoff. He decides to introduce her to his friend to convince him to take Florence off his hands. Unaware of David’s plan to palm her off, Florence prepares for their date and convinces her dad to tag along to meet the man of her dreams. As the four meet things quickly turns into chaos. But is it all an act?
