Directed by William Bermudez and Sam Friedman, who co-wrote the script
with Adam Edery and David Goldblum,
Grassland stars Mia Maestro as a single mother who
earns an illegal living growing marijuana on her property. Her livelihood
is endangered when her young son makes friends with the neighbouring
grandson of a police officer.
The film also stars Quincy Isaiah, Jeff Kober, Ravi Cabot-Conyers and Rachel Ticotin.
Grassland premieres on June 2nd as part of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.

Exploring the failures of the criminal justice system from a unique angle, Grassland follows a single Latina mother whose illegal marijuana business is jeopardized when her young son befriends their new neighbors – a white boy and his police officer grandfather.
