British writer/director Rose Glass drew acclaim for her debut
Saint Maud
and now makes her US debut with Love Lies Bleeding, which she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. The film sees Kristen Stewart play a gym
employee who gets caught up in a web of violence when she falls for a
bodybuilder (Katy O'Brian).
Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov, Dave Franco and
Ed Harris also star.
Love Lies Bleeding will premiere at Sundance in January and
hit UK cinemas in April.
