Directed by David Ayer and written by Kurt Wimmer,
The Beekeeper stars Jason Statham as a beekeeper with a
secret past who seeks revenge for the swindle that lead to his former
employer's suicide. The movie seems to be taking its cues from
John Wick with the action set against the backdrop of a
secretive underworld.
Emmy Raver-Lampman, Josh Hutcherson, Bobby Naderi, Minnie Driver,
Phylicia Rashad
and Jeremy Irons also star.
The Beekeeper is in UK/ROI cinemas from January 12th,
2024.
