Directed by Roger Ross Williams and co-written by David Teague,
Cassandro stars Gael García Bernal as Saúl Armendáriz, a gay wrestler whose
flamboyant character Cassandro became known as "the Liberace of Lucha
Libre."
The film also stars Roberta Colindrez, Perla De La Rosa, Joaquín Cosío, Raúl Castillo, El
Hijo del Santo
and Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.
Cassandro is in select cinemas from September 15th and on
Prime Video from September 22nd.
