Directed by Neill Blomkamp (Chappie;
Elysium), Gran Turismo is a mix of video game adaptation and sports
biopic. It's inspired by the story of British racecar driver Jann
Mardenborough, who made the leap from playing the Gran Turismo video game to
racing real life cars.
Written by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin,
Gran Turismo stars David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner and Djimon Hounsou.
Gran Turismo is in UK/ROI cinemas from August 11th.

The official synopsis reads:
Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
