Directed by Bishal Dutta and inspired by an Indian legend related by
the filmmaker's grandfather, It Lives Inside stars
Megan Suri as an Indian-American teenager desperate to fit in and
rejecting her family's culture in the process. When a demon takes hold of
her old friend, she's forced to embrace her heritage in order to conquer
evil.
Neeru Bajwa, Mohana Krishnan, Vik Sahay and
Betty Gabriel also star.
It Lives Inside is expected to release later this year.

The official synopsis reads:
Sam is desperate to fit in at school, rejecting her Indian culture and family to be like everyone else. When a mythological demonic spirit latches onto her former best friend, she must come to terms with her heritage in order to defeat it.
