Actress Brea Grant made her directorial debut with 2013's
Best Friends Forever and recently received acclaim for her
sophomore thriller 12 Hour Shift. Grant's third film as director sees her team up with Blumhouse for
Torn Hearts.
The movie stars Abby Quinn and Alexxis Lemire as two young aspiring country
singers who visit the home of a reclusive country legend (Katey Sagal) in hopes of convincing her to record on their next
album. Things quickly take a sinister turn as the girls learn the old
lesson that you should never meet your idols.
Joshua Leonard and Shiloh Fernandez also star.
Torn Hearts is on US VOD from May 20th. A UK/ROI release
has yet to be announced.
