King's vampire tale makes its UK blu-ray debut in October.
Soon after Twin Peaks, actress Mädchen Amick starred in another tale of spooky goings on in smalltown America in 1992's Sleepwalkers, Stephen King's first story written directly for the screen. Her character falls for the new boy at school (Brian Krause), who happens to be a shapeshifting, psychic vampire who moves from town to town with his mother (Alice Krige) in search of victims.
Sleepwalkers makes its UK blu-ray debut on October 19th, when it will be released by Eureka Entertainment.
Bonus features include a new audio commentary with director Mick Garris and film historian Lee Gambin; an archive commentary with Garris, Amick and Krause; video interviews with Garris, Amick, Krause and Krige; a featurette on the film's FX; behind the scenes footage; and a trailer. The limited edition disc comes packaged in an O-Card slipcase with silver laminate finish and with a collector’s booklet featuring new writing by Craig Ian Mann.
