Brandon Christensen's thriller debuts on Shudder in May.
A couple of years ago we were impressed by director Brandon Christensen's low budget horror movie Still/Born, which we caught at IFI Horrorthon back in 2017. Christensen is back with Z, in which a mother (Keegan Connor Tracy) is menaced by her young son's imaginary friend. Sean Rogerson, Jett Klyne, Sara Canning and Stephen McHattie also star.
Z will premiere on the UK, US and Canadian versions of horror streaming service Shudder on May 7th, which fittingly, is Mother's Day in the US.
Check out the trailer, poster and official synopsis below.
The official synopsis reads:
A couple is shaken to the core when their eight-year-old son begins hanging out with a creepy and ominous imaginary friend. A new tale of "parental terror" from the writer/director of Still/Born.
"A fun and interesting series, especially to younger viewers that might not know these stories."— 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝕠𝕧𝕚𝕖 đť•Žđť•’đť•—đť•—đť•ťđť•–đť•Ł (@themoviewaffler) April 16, 2020
